Bandit + AppGuard
Python-specific static analysis tool that finds common security issues in Python code.
What is Bandit?
Bandit is a tool designed to find common security issues in Python code. It processes each file, builds an AST, and runs appropriate plugins against the AST nodes to find security problems such as hardcoded passwords, use of insecure functions, and SQL injection risks. Bandit is the standard SAST tool for Python projects and integrates easily into CI/CD pipelines.
